Blankets for the winter

Summer is a great time to prepare for the cold wintermonths in Iceland. These blankets are perfect to cuddle under during the winter months and ideal as christmas presents for friends and family. My Passap Duomatic knitting machine is working nicely after standing unused for a long time. The patterns and possibilities that come with the Passap Duomatic are so nice that it deserves much more attention and now I am trying out a lot of those patterns that make wonderful blankets. It also makes beautiful even edges and a very nice cast on. This blue blanket is knitted with one of the patterns described in the leaflet 120 attractive stitch patterns for PASSAP Duomatic (number 112). The yarn was 350 g Volga from Yeoman yarn.
