Piece

yoke, hood and zipper

Combine the pieces on a large knitting needle and remember to leave 5 stitches on a thread on each piece were arms and body meet. The order to do this is left front (5 last stitches left on a band), left sleeve (5 first and 5 last stitches left on a band) , back (5 first and 5 last stitches left on a band), right sleeve (5 first and 5 last stitches left on a band) and right front (5 first stitches left on a band) join the stitches in a circle and as you do that add 2 stitches in the center of the sweater, these will be purl in all rounds and used to cut later. Knit the pattern and decrease stitches accordingly when the pattern is finished there ar 76 stitches left knit 10 rows rib (as before right side stoking stitch, wrong side 2 stocking stitch, two purl). Then it is time to cut open the sweater, I do this by crocheting on each side of the two purl stitches and then cutting between them. Knit one row *4 stitches stocking stitch increase by one * Repeat *to* the entire row. Rehang the stitches and knit the hood 60 rows, I hand manipulated the first and last 10 stitches as a rib (same as before every other row two stocking stitches, two purl, the other row stocking stitch) Take off the stitches and rehang half of them right side facing you and the other half on top of that wrong side facing and knit together. Add the zipper and fasten off the inner edge by neatly sowing.
